The DDL Wizard
Misc. Setup Tab

The Misc. Setup Tab contains configuration items. These items are usually set automatically at startup or when the Oracle export and rule files are loaded. Two items: the logfile directory and the output directory can be manually adjusted if required.

The DDL Wizard Misc. Setup Tab

Default directory for file output: The DDL Wizard application can write out the export file DDL as schema re-creation files or as an HTML tree. The setting of this item determines the output directory that will be used. The output DDL Wizard (started from the buttons on the Schemas & Objects Tab) will also prompt for this directory information.

Directory for log files: As it is used, the DDL Wizard application writes out a log of significant internal events. A new log file is created each time the application starts and this field is the directory in which the log files will be placed.

Currently loaded export file: This field contains the full name and path to the currently loaded export file.

Currently loaded rule file: This field contains the full name and path to the currently loaded object rule file.

Currently loaded selection file: This field contains the full name and path to the currently loaded object selection file.
